Bob is currently serving as a trainee youth minister with Reign Ministries and The Crowded House Bicester. His main role includes serving at the local secondary school to build relationships, lead lunch-time clubs and mentor young people. Bob also disciples a small group of teenage boys and helps to oversee the ‘triplet’ groups that are part of the The Crowded House. Working on his Bachelors in Theology as part of the ICY-UK training programme takes up most of the rest of Bob’s time!
Bob first came into contact with Reign Ministries as a student at The Cooper School in Bicester. He attended lunch clubs that were led by Reign Ministries staff and began to help out as he grew older. Over time Bob grew more and more interested in finding out about God and the Christian faith and eventually became a Christian in his late teenage years. Bob finished a course in IT at the Oxford and Cherwell Valley College before deciding to embark on his three year youth ministry training experience.
It is great to have Bob serving with us and to see him come full circle to serve in his own secondary school. He is a key part of what God has been doing in Bicester over the last few years.
